Read Across America Week at Robeson
Thank you to Mrs. Archer for planning an exciting week to help our students celebrate Read Across America. Mrs. Archer has worked hard to bring our first ever “Masked Reader” to Robeson! Monday through Thursday, students will view a story being read by a Robeson Celebrity Masked Reader. After watching the story and looking at clues provided, classrooms will vote on who they think each Masked Reader is. The identities of the Masked Readers will be revealed on Friday, March 1. Also on Friday, the PTA has sponsored a book giveaway. Every student will receive a book to keep thanks to our generous PTA.
We are close to reaching our school-wide goal! You can help by reminding your children that we are working on self-control. Talk to your child about strategies they can use to manage their emotions. It also helps to role play using these strategies, so when faced with a real life situation, the child can access the strategies easily. If we reach our goal as a school, will “Chill Out” with a popsicle on Friday, March 1.
Parent Teacher Conferences
Your child’s classroom teacher will be reaching out to schedule a Parent Teacher conference. Conferences will be held Thursday, March 7th from 4:00-8:00, and Friday, March 8th from 8:00-11:00. Please respond to your child’s classroom quickly so you can secure a time that is most convenient for you.
5Essentials Parent Survey
Please help us make Robeson the best it can be for our students by participating in the 5Essentials Parent Survey. Your voice matters, and we do use your feedback as we implement our School Improvement Plan. The survey is completely anonymous.
