Día de ir en bicicleta a la escuela:
IPA participará en el día de CU Safe Route to School Bike or Roll to School el miércoles 3 de mayo. Si está interesado en participar en el programa, revise el folleto y los enlaces a continuación.

ISA:
Los estudiantes en los grados 5 y 8 tomarán la Evaluación de Ciencias de Illinois (ISA) el 18, 19 y 20 de abril. Es muy importante que los estudiantes asistan a la escuela en las fechas de los exámenes (si no están enfermos) y también que descansen lo suficiente mientras toman los exámenes. También queremos que los estudiantes tomen la evaluación en serio y hagan lo mejor que puedan.
Viernes sin clases:
Hay un feriado de primavera el viernes 21 de abril de 2023 y los estudiantes no tendrán clases.
Noche de Alfabetización IPA:
Organizaremos una noche familiar de alfabetización en la Biblioteca Pública de Champaign para promover la alfabetización de nuestros estudiantes y prepararlos para las vacaciones de verano. El evento será el 1 de mayo de 2023 y será de 6 a 7:30 p.m. El folleto con la información se adjunta a continuación.

Nos estamos preparando para la transición a un nuevo sistema de comunicación que reemplazará a SchoolMessenger. Nos complace comenzar la implementación de la plataforma de mensajería SwiftK12 para nuestras familias y miembros del personal. Esta nueva plataforma nos permitirá estar mejor conectados con usted mediante el uso de correos electrónicos, mensajes de texto y llamadas telefónicas. ¡Además, ahora puede descargar la aplicación Champaign Unit #4 a través de la tienda de aplicaciones de su teléfono para mantenerse mejor conectado con el distrito y la IPA!
Simulacro de incendio:
Habrá un simulacro de incendio con el Departamento de Bomberos de Champaign el 28 de abril a la 1:00.
Día Del Niño:
La IPA PTA organizará una celebración del Día del Niño el jueves 20 de abril de 2023. Encuentre el folleto adjunto a continuación.

Please find important information below for the upcoming week at IPA:
Bike To School Day:
IPA will be participating in the CU Safe Route to School Bike or Roll to School Day on Wednesday, May 3. If you are interested in participating in the program, please review the flyer and links below.

ISA:
Students in grades 5 and 8 will be taking the Illinois Science Assessment (ISA) on April 4/18, 4/19, and 4/20. It is very important that students attend school on testing dates (if they are not sick) and also get plenty of rest while taking the exams. We also want students to take the assessment seriously and do their very best.
No School Friday:
There is a spring holiday on Friday, April 21, 2023 and students will not have school.
IPA Literacy Night:
We will be hosting a family literacy night at the Champaign Public Library in order to promote our students’ literacy and prepare for summer break. The event will be on May 1, 2023 and will be from 6-7:30p.m. The flyer with information is attached below.

Website Information:
We are preparing to transition to a new communication system that will replace SchoolMessenger. We are pleased to begin the implementation of the SwiftK12 messaging platform for our families and staff members. This new platform will allow us to stay better connected to you through the use of emails, text messaging and phone calls. In addition, you can now download the Champaign Unit #4 App through your phone’s app store to stay better connected to the district and IPA!
Fire Drill:
There will be a fire drill with the Champaign Fire Department on April 28 at 1:00.
Día Del Niño:
The IPA PTA will be hosting a Día del Niño celebration on Thursday, April 20, 2023. Please find the flyer attached below.
