2024-25 New School Year Guide
A message from Superintendent Boozer
It’s my favorite time of the year! It gives me great joy to welcome more than 10,000 students for the 2024-25 school year. Our amazing staff has been preparing their learning spaces and are eager to greet your child and kick off the school year. Students will begin on August 12th (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and Freshman; *International Prep Academy-K-8) and August 13th (7th, 8th, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors). If your child is in Pre-K or Kindergarten, please refer to information from your child’s school.
Unit 4’s mission is to positively transform learning and life outcomes for students through educational justice, equity and excellence. Our staff works diligently to ensure that this is a lived experience in a dynamic and enthusiastic school culture. Be sure to get connected at your child’s school. Talk to your child’s teachers and principal on how you can partner together. I also hope to meet you at academic celebrations, musicals, plays and sporting events this school year.
